Fully qualified staff
Whatever sector you operate in, your assessments are carried out by professionally registered clinicians working within their scope of practice, with a physician holding clinical oversight of the service.
Occupational health physicians
Our services are doctor-led. Occupational Health Physicians are doctors who have specialised in occupational medicine and hold Faculty of Occupational Medicine qualifications, and several hold HSE appointments. That is what lets us carry out statutory asbestos and radiation medicals in our own right rather than sub-contracting them, and it means a physician holds clinical oversight of the work rather than being called in only when a case becomes difficult.
Occupational health advisers
Our Occupational Health Advisers are nurses who have taken specialist occupational health qualifications, typically a degree or diploma in the discipline. They handle most management referrals, pre-placement assessments and health surveillance programmes, and they are the people your managers will deal with day to day.
Occupational health technicians
Our technicians carry out the hands-on screening that health surveillance depends on, using calibrated equipment to recognised standards. Every result they record is reviewed by an adviser or physician before a fitness statement is issued, so the clinical judgement always sits with a registered clinician.
